- 3 Cups of White Sugar
- 1 Cup of Buttermilk
- 1 Cup of Butter
- 1/4 Cup of Corn Syrup
- 2 Teaspoons of Baking Soda
- 4 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
In a large pot, stir together all ingredients.
Bring to a boil, and cook for 3 minutes stirring continually.
Remove from the heat. Serve warm with Buttermilk Pancakes, French Toast, or Waffles.
CAUTION: The baking soda will make the syrup foam up so use a much larger pot than you think you need so it doesn’t boil over.
