  • 12 oz. of Petite Carrots
  • 1 oz. of Packet Dry Ranch Dressing/Seasoning Mix
  • 2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Water

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine carrots, Ranch seasoning mix, and olive oil. Stir until well-combined and all the carrots are coated evenly with oil and seasoning.

  2. Heat griddle to medium-high heat and cover evenly with a small amount of olive oil.

  3. Add carrots to the griddle and let cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally.

  4. Add 2-3 Tbsp water to the pile of carrots to generate steam. Cover carrot pile with basting cover or similar metal dish. This traps in the steam and cooks the carrots.

  5. Every 2-3 minutes remove basting cover, toss carrots, add 2-3 Tbsp water, and re-cover with basting cover to continue steaming.

  6. Carrots cook for approximately 12 minutes or to desired tenderness.
